However, 6.3 percent of this population reports unmet medication needs with financial access listed as the primary reason. Lack of transportation increases the probability of unmet need, while increased satisfaction with paid help lowers this probability. This study highlights the need to study the interaction of Medicaid, social services programs, and financial barriers for this disabled population.
