| Sumario: | This article reports on current developments associated with the self-report assessment of personality and psychopathology in adults. Formats for assessment are reviewed, novel approaches to the collection of information concomitant with self-report are introduced, and the dimensionality of domains of personality and psychopathology is discussed. Some alternatives to self-report are offered and topics of questionnaire phrasing, response styles, and faking as ongoing issues for self-report measures are examined.
