The book's goal is to reconceptualize, understand, interpret differently, explain adequately, and propose workable responses to the catastrophic and systematic problem of eliminationism. Depending on one's viewpoint, it represents either the logical conclusion of Goldhagen's research over the past fifteen years or its “reductio ad absurdum”.
