| Sumario: | A model is developed to examine the responses of committee members to a request to evaluate a particular proposal. The model attempts to aggregate the responses in order to reach an overall conclusion as to the views of the committee relating to the proposal. Findings reveal that in order to aggregate various responses, it is necessary to weight the numbers of members selecting each option through the utilization of a suitable weighting system. Findings imply that a proposal should be accepted only if the number that results from the weighting exercise exceeds a benchmark number. |
