| Sumario: | A framework that uses the concepts of technicity and transduction to explore the impact of software on the spatial formation of daily life is presented. It is noted that technicity refers to technology's power to make things happen, and that transduction refers to the continual remaking of a domain in transformative and reiterative practices. It is argued that space must be theorized as ontogenetic, that is, viewed as being continually produced by transductive practices that alter the conditions under which space is made and remade. |
