      ab: The writer addresses the problem of accounting for the convoluted nature of “digital signal processing” (DSP) related to wireless communication. He contends that the relevance of DSP, a set of algorithmic processes associated with wireless networks, can be understood only by shifting focus away from abstract understandings of code, calculation, and software to specific design processes that fold new configurations of space and movement into wireless network signals. The writer adds that, presently, the continuing dynamism of wireless networks could be just as critical to understand as the altered modes of proximity, intimacy, colocation, and distance related to wireless technologies. To this end, he frames wireless DSP in terms of intensive movement generated by a center of envelopment, which produces comprehensive changes but also changes the nature of change itself.
