Summary:	A study was conducted to develop a scale that would accurately measure the levels of contentment among Kuwaitis in the aftermath of Iraq's 1990 invasion of Kuwait. Data were obtained using a multi-method approach administered to a convenience sample of 560 undergraduate students. Findings revealed that four factors in particular underline the concept of contentment in Kuwait and in similar cultures. Findings suggested that these four sub-scales are a psychometrically sound measure of contentment that will be useful in the study of culture-based well-being among Arabic-speaking cultures. Findings are discussed in detail.
