| Sumario: | A study examined how time-spaces of AIDS-related sickness and death intersect with the time-spaces of young people and those of their relations with others to produce differentiated outcomes for young people. Data were obtained from qualitative research with AIDS-affected young people in Malawi and Lesotho, and recent work theorizing time-spaces in human geography. Findings contributed to the understanding of the diversity of those young people's experiences with AIDS and allowed AIDS to be contextualized more adequately in association with everyday life and young people's wider life courses and their relationships with others. Findings and implications are discussed. |
