| Sumario: | A review of Econtutor (EconEducator)—a Computer Workbook for Beginning Economics. The aim of this package is to offer homework exercises “to accompany any Principles of Economics text.” Three issues come to mind in reviewing such a package: presentation, interaction, and possible uses. The simple presentation may not be a disadvantage if the intention is to create and use large numbers of assessment questions. Some minor spelling and typographical errors are evident, and clarity has been sacrificed on some graphs by abbreviating axis labels. A naive user might occasionally not know what to do next, but this happens with virtually all educational software. Clearly, the principal possible use of this package is in assessment, an area in which there are large potential productivity gains.
