Topics discussed include solving geographical problems with new computing power; developments, issues, and case studies relating to high-performance computing and geography; neural network, genetic, and fuzzy logic models of spatial interaction; computational neural networks as a new paradigm for spatial analysis; and constructing new spatial interaction models by utilizing genetic programming and a supercomputer.
