Sumario:The writers examine political scientists' evaluations of the quality of academic book publishers. They surveyed a sample of the American Political Science Association's members and asked them to evaluate the overall quality of political science books published by important presses and imprints. They present two tables detailing political scientists' ranking of publishers and familiarity with publishers. Their findings indicate that a reputational capital exists within publishing and that it matters who one publishes with.
