| Sumario: | The writer reviews LIMDEP: Limited Dependent Variables Models, Version 7.0, which is a statistical package designed primarily for the analysis of cross-section data. LIMDEP's comparative and absolute advantage over most other commercially available statistical packages is the ease at which a wide range of limited-dependent and qualitative response models can be estimated. Although LIMDEP 7.0, which was released in October 1995, represents a substantial upgrade on previous versions, it would greatly benefit from further development of its “front-end.” The system requirements for using LIMDEP are outlined. |
