The writers endeavor to demonstrate how models with complex between-place and between-individual heterogeneity can be both specified and estimated, with particular attention being given to complex heterogeneity at the microscale as well as the macroscale. They present a series of models, each of which considers a particular facet of model specification, and highlight the important contrasts between the modeling of categorical and continuous predictors. They present illustrative results for variations in British house prices, modeled using MLn software. |
