Sumario:Part of a special issue on cognitive neuroscience. A study was conducted to investigate the influence of physical properties of sensory stimuli on sensory activity and multisensory integration of superior colliculus neurons in awake and behaving primates. Findings revealed that multisensory processing in awake behaving primates is affected by the spatial congruency of the stimuli, along with their individual physical properties.
