Sumario:	The article discusses Jewish scholars' interpretation of a historical Jesus who is presented in the Bible's New Testament Gospels. The operational dynamics in the Gospels are discussed in the context of the Last Supper as a Passover meal, Jesus' trial in the Sanhedrin court, the so-called blasphemy verdict, and his pairing with Barabbas whose death sentence of crucifixion was pardoned. Early Christianity's remaking of Jesus Christ's image to resolve political and theological issues regarding later day Evangelism and Jesus' ministry is discussed. The focus of the discussion is on four themes in the Gospel book of Mark.
