The lesion was located in the head and neck, with good response to thalidomide and prednisone, this is an atypical presentation and not well known by the dermatologist and other specialists. El pioderma gangrenoso es una dermatosis neutrofílica, relacionada con quimiotaxis anormal de los neutrófilos. Se comunica el caso de una mujer de 27 años con presentación atípica de pioderma gangrenoso en la cabeza y el cuello, sin antecedentes de importancia y sin enfermedades asociadas al momento del diagnóstico; que respondió al tratamiento con talidomida y prednisona.
