In the initial management of the burn patient, an important point is to guarantee the patient's airway. The presence of edema on nasopharynx and oropharynx can make difficult orotraqueal intubation with traditional methods. In this case we present a female patient with burn in 80% of her corporal su...

The presence of edema on nasopharynx and oropharynx can make difficult orotraqueal intubation with traditional methods. In this case we present a female patient with burn in 80% of her corporal surface, in which we manage the airway using an ILA laryngeal mask.
