Sumario:	The article relates the involvement of publisher Walter Scott and authors Ernest Rhys and Will H. Dircks in the books of authors Henry David Thoreau and Walt Whitman. After he was appointed Scott Publishers editor, Rhys created the Camelot Series which included the first English edition of Thoreau's "Walden" in 1886, "A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers" in 1889 and "Essays and Other Writings" in 1891. Dircks wrote the introductions of the three books. Rhys also released Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" and "Specimen Days in America."
