Description
Summary:The article discusses the public opinion polls in Great Britain. It notes that the profile of opinion polls during the 2011 election has been remarkably low since they figured less conspicuously in the media. The polls also exert less influence on the political campaigns of various political parties as a result of the sampling errors they committed in 1992 where they erroneously underestimated the votes of the Conservative Party. However, despite of their low profile and errors, they made significant contributions on the ambience of the election where some politicians assumed on their future victory based on the results of the polls.
