ab: This article is a collection of resources on the theme "Gender in the Twenty-first Century." The resources are of various kinds: publications, organizations, Web resources, e-mail lists, video. Few of the publications are "The Globalization Reader (2000)," edited by Frank J. Lechner and John Boli; "Economic Development and Women in the World Community (1996)" edited by Kartik C. Roy, Clement A. Tisdell and Hans C. Blomqvist. Names of few organizations are "Women Working Worldwide" in Manchester, England; "International Program for More and Better Jobs for Women" in Geneva, Switzerland. Few of the Web resources are "Women Watch: The UN Internet Gateway on the Advancement and Empowerment of Women"; "UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women); "The Electra Pages." An example of "E-mail lists" is PROFEM which is an Internet mailing list that focuses on men, masculinities and gender relations. It aims to promote dialogue between men and women concerned with gender justice arid the elimination of sexism.
