| Sumario: | As a theoretical physicist Pauli is widely known to the scientific community. But he is considerably less known as a philosopher of science. However, namely his philosophical views formed the basis of most of his physical theories. This became clear only in the last two decades when volumes (seven up to now) were published containing his abundant private correspondence. The study of this heritage of Pauli bears not only a historical but to a greater degree a methodological importance. An attempt is made Pauli's views of archetypes to be applied to certain problematic situations of contemporary science. |
