| Sumario: | The article discusses industrial design and experimentation, focusing on theoretical and conceptual issues related to product development and technological innovation. Various approaches to issues such as blue-sky commercial thinking, cutting-edge markets, and scientific experimental design are analyzed. An overview of pedagogic models used in industrial design education is offered, and a meta-model developed at the Royal College of Art & Imperial College London is presented. Three case studies of postgraduate projects are cited as examples of this meta-model's application. |
