| Sumario: | The article presents a study on the use of NVivo8 qualitative data-analysis software for coding and analysis of audio data. The study uses narrative interviews of illness experience and healthcare relationships of chronic constipation patients. Result shows that the use of NVivo8 offers advantage for coding fieldwork with long duration, ability to move between codes and audio excerpts, and handle intimate details on patients' live that are unfitting to be outsourced in third party transcription. |
