This has been dubbed 'mate crime' (Williams 2010) and is an area where research and resources are lacking. This study outlines the development, delivery and evaluation of a small-scale pilot group intervention related to keeping people with a learning disability safe. Group members reported finding the group helpful and enjoyable and said it improved their safety. It was, however, hard to draw strong conclusions.
