Sumario:The article examines research on facial recognition and identification systems. A study is discussed which was conducted by college teachers at Carnegie Mellon University indicating that facial-recognition software, cloud computing and scanning of online social networks could allow them to successfully identify persons on the Internet who had attempted to remain anonymous. The possible threat to the right of privacy is considered.
