It typically focuses on the relation between signifiers, such as words, phrases, signs and symbols, and what they stand for. Some areas of semantic and related subjects include these: Symbol and referent, words and lexemes, denotation, connotation, implication, ambiguity, metaphor, simile and symbol, semantic fields, synonym, antonym and hyponym, collocation, expression and idiom, semantic change and etymology, polysemy, homonymy and homographs, lexicology and lexicography, epistemology, colour. In this study, teaching of semantic matters of second level primary education has been deal with from different angles. Firstly it was given information about teaching of semantic matters with activity examples and later depending on these, makes a number of recommendations. Anlambilim, anlamı inceleyen çalışma alanıdır. Bu alan, genellikle sözcükler, deyimler, Işaretler ve semboller gibi gösterenlerle onların anlamları arasındaki ilişkiye yoğunlaşır. Anlam bilgisiyle bağlantılı konulardan bazıları şunlardır: Sembol ve gönderge, sözcükler ve sözlükbirim, düzanlam, yan anlam, dolaylı anlatım, iki anlamlılık, mecaz, teşbih ve sembol, anlam bilgisi alanları, eş anlamlılık, zıt anlamlılık ve alt anlamlılık, eşdizimlilik, ifade ve deyim, anlam değIşikliğI ve kökbilim, çok anlamlılık, eşadlılık ve eşyazımlılık, sözlükbilim ve sözlükçülük, bilgibilim, renk. Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim ikinci kademe anlam bilgisi konularının öğretimi çeşitli yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle anlam bilgisi konuları hakkında bilgi verilerek, bu konuların öğretimiyle ilgili etkinlik örnekleri sunulmuştur.
