It notes that the pottery and amber samples were investigated and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy techniques. According to the FTIR results, all the analyzed ambers come in a common class of fossil resin called Baltic ambers that is not dependent on the sample location in the area.
