Nowadays there are thousands of Turkish Manuscripts in different parts of the world. Around 2000 out of these Manuscripts are located at the British Library. These works which exists as our cultural heritage awaiting the linguists and researchers to take care of them. Bu çalışmanın amacı İngiltere'de bulunan British Library'deki yazmalarla ilgili 1888 tarihinde hazırlanan ilk katalogda yer alan 6 Gramer, 4 İncil, 2 Kur'an, 3 Siyer ve 3 adet de Kürt Tarihine ait toplam 18 adet eserin tanıtımını yapmak bu vesileyle de buradaki diğer yazmalara dikkat çekmektir. Bugün dünyanın değişik yerlerinde Türkçeye ait binlerce yazma eser bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan 2000 civarı British Library'dedir.
