| Sumario: | Objective: This study was carried out to determine running midwives and nurses' workplace psychological intimidation behaviors compared with the situation, suffering psychological intimidation behaviors across responses and suffering psychological intimidation behaviors to reduce or prevent an attempt Mediterranean Region in the center of city hospitals in the province. Methods: The sample of the study consists of 442 midwives and nurses working Mediterranean Region in the center of city hospitals in the province. Midwives and nurses included in the sample were selected by the cluster and stratified sampling method. Data was collected by "Workplace Psychologically Violence Behaviors Instrument" and by the data collection form. Results: According to the research, 27.4% of midwives and 20.7% of nurses were subject to workplace psychological intimidation behaviors. It is found that midwives and nurses are subject to "humiliating and insulting speech among others" most (65.4%) and this behavior is practiced by doctors, patient's relative and administrators at a high rate. The research has shown that the reactions of midwives and nurses against workplace psychological intimidation behaviors are generally physical and emotional. Conclusions: Approximately one of every five nurses and midwives are exposed to workplace psychological intimidation behaviors. Midwives and nurses stated that to reduce and to prevent the workplace psychological intimidation behaviors have made generally positive initiatives like talking with relevant person face to face to trying to their problem solve. Amaç: Bu çalişma, Akdeniz Bölgesi'ndeki bir ilimizin il merkezindeki hastanelerde çalişan ebe ve hemşirelerin; iş yerinde psikolojik bezdirme davranişlariyla karşilaşma sikliğini, psikolojik bezdirme karşisinda gösterdikleri tepkileri ve bu tür davranişlari önleme girişimlerinin neler olduğunu belirlemek amaci ile yapilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştirmanin örneklemini Akdeniz Bölgesi'ndeki bir ilimizin il merkezindeki hastanelerde çalişan 442 ebe ve hemşire oluşturmuştur. Örnekleme alinacak ebe ve hemşireler küme ve tabakali örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Veriler "İş Yerinde Psikolojik Şiddet Davranişlari Ölçeği" ve veri toplama formu ile toplanmiştir. Bulgular: Araştirmada ebelerin %27.4'ünün, hemşirelerin %20.7'sinin iş yerinde psikolojik bezdirme davranişlarina maruz kaldiği belirlenmiştir. Ebe ve hemşirelerin en fazla "başkalarinin yaninda sizinle aşağilayici ve onur kirici konuşulmasi" (%65.4) davranişina maruz kaldiklari ve bu davranişi uygulayan kişilerin en fazla doktor, hasta yakini ve yöneticiler olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ebe ve hemşirelerin iş yerinde psikolojik bezdirme davranişlari karşisinda en fazla fiziksel ve duygusal tepki verdikleri belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Yaklaşik her beş ebe ve hemşireden biri iş yerinde psikolojik bezdirme davranişlarina maruz kalmaktadir. Ebe ve hemşireler psikolojik bezdirme davranişlarini azaltma ve önlemeye yönelik olarak çoğunlukla ilgili kişiyle yüz yüze konuşarak sorunu çözmeye çalişmak gibi olumlu girişimlerde bulunmuşlardir. |
