An Edition of the Coucher Book and Charters," appearing in the article entitled "Notes and Documents: Bolton Priory and Its Charters" by H. F. Doherty, published within this issue. She discusses editorial decisions made to prepare the work for publication which included limiting the use of footnotes, abridging the bibliography, and providing only a brief introduction, all to make the cost of publishing viable.
