Sumario:The article discusses the medical and ethical aspects of becoming a human subject of experimental clinical treatments of chronic incurable diseases like AIDS. It says that many patients with these conditions volunteer themselves to become test subjects of clinical trials due to their belief that the experiment is a legitimate treatment for their ailment. However, this attitude and the acceptance of the medical community for the need of volunteers poses questions on medical ethics.
