Sumario:An essay is presented which discusses the author's last encounter with his old friend, whom he described as menace. He mentions his last encounter to his friend at an automatic teller machine (ATM) during his visit to his mother in suburban Tidewater, Virginia. He adds that his friend was with his six years old son, who has a black-eye, which he assumes to be made by his friend. He describes the child's fear to his father as well as his desire to know the reason for such behavior of his friend.
