Sumario:The article discusses an article in the issue by Popa, Redfield, Zeldovich, and Balakrishnan on the use of the standard database query language SQL in encrypted databases. The author argues that the article presents a CryptDB system which efficiently would allow the processing of encrypted data without encryption keys. The importance of data encryption in cloud computing is examined.
