Sumario:	The article discusses the development of word-gesture keyboards, also known as word shorthand gesture keyboards, as an alternative to key striking-based keyboards for text input in human-computer interaction (HCI) tasks. The article examines topics such as the technical feasibility of word-gesture keyboards, the ease-of-use and efficiency of gesture keyboards, and the psychological aspects of word-gesture keyboarding, especially as it relates to human motor control and memory.
