Sumario:The article assesses the principal statistical series gathered and calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in the U.S. The analysis focuses on labor force, employment, and unemployment, labor compensation, consumer, producer, and international prices, productivity, international comparisons, and injury and illness statistics. It indicates that labor market indicators include employment measures from two major surveys and information on rates of change in compensation provided by the Employment Cost Index (ECI) program.
