| Sumario: | This chapter focuses on work in Drama and Performance Studies published in 2010 and is divided into two sections (with some thematic crossover between them): 1. Bodies, Spaces and Objectives (by David Tucker); 2. Technology, Media and Boundaries (by Daniël Ploeger). Common themes across the sections and among the books reviewed within each of these include the possibilities of success and failure, where both are reconceptualized according to political and social contexts as well as to modes of praxis. Bodies as reduced to near physical death, or existing in relations to one another, as well as appended with technologies to enable more than their usual capacities, continue to play fundamental roles in current literature.
