Sumario:	The article discusses the views of philosopher Baruch Spinoza regarding the Jewish tradition and ethical aspects of courage. Topics include interpretations of Spinoza in the context of the German Jewish enlightenment, the notion of courage in the Bible and the rabbinic tradition, and the views promoted in Spinoza's texts "Theological-Political Treatise" and "Ethics." It is said that Spinoza interests the biblical figures Adam, Job, and Solomon from a perspective similar to that of the philosopher Moses Maimonides.
