Sumario:Study Design: Randomized Clinical trial. Objective: To study and compare the effectiveness of Adductor Stretch MWM and MET on Intermalleolar distance, Single leg hop test and Star excursion balance test in subject with hip adductor tightness. Methods: In this study 40 subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into two groups. Group A (n-20) received single session of Adductor Stretch MWM on both sides. Group B (n-20) received single session MET on both sides. We measured pre-intervention and post intervention Intermalleolardistance, Single leg hop test and Star excursion balance test. Data was analyse using t-test. Results: The group treated with Adductor Stretch MWM showed significant improvement in Intermalleolar distance (p<0.001), Single leg hop test (p<0.001) and Star excursion balance test (p<0.001) as compared to MET group. Result showed a significant difference within the groups post intervention. Conclusion: A single application of Adductor Stretch MWM is better as compared to MET to release hip adductor tightness, improve muscle flexibility and balance.
