Summary:This paper analyses the fourth distinctio of the Ars brevis quae est de inventione iuris by Ramon Llull. By explaining some ideas of the Lullian conception of Law, a comparison with the ideas of Aquinas is proposed in order to see some common points of view between these two authors in the context of the Scholastic culture and in the rising of ius commune.
