Sumario:The article analyzes the role or fate of ancient clothing, particularly the cloak, in situations of conflict in the narrative contextualization of Mark 14:51-52. It provides an understanding of the arrest scene presented in the passages by describing the nature of the young man's garment and his abandonment of it. Literary evidence are discussed to demonstrate the pairing of cloaks and conflict using familiar images from everyday life in order to heighten the violent pathos of the arrest scene.
