| Sumario: | The article discusses the relationship between the Luddites, a group of 19th-century English laborers who protested the encroachment of technology on human employment by destroying textile machines, and the Internet-based hacker activist group Anonymous. According to the author, both groups target machines in their attacks, create collective pseudonyms under which individual or group actions can be taken, and act in relationship to issues of labor productivity and capital. |
