Randomization method (RM) is regarded as a gold standard in scientific researches. However, in order to define RM as a gold standard, the researches in which RM is used should have a large sample size as a prerequisite. Although the sample sizes in the training science researches are generally small, it is observed that RM is used in these researches without any questioning. Therefore, the use of RM under these circumstances raises doubts about the validity of the research results. In the researches with small sample size and independent group design, the grouping method that fits the research design best should be selected to ensure that the research results are “true”. The use of matching method based on important characteristics of participants that might affect the outcomes of the research should be considered as an alternative. Research bias could be prevented to a large extent by the use of this method. Generalization of the results of researches with small sample sizes are quite difficult. Therefore, the only way to determine whether or not the results of a research using a small sample size are true is to repeat that research just as it is with different samples by using the same method and same variables, and to analyze the obtained results of these repeated researches in a comparative manner.
