For this purpose, data was collected from 350 respondents of different categories of stakeholders that include: decision makers from NGOs, programme managers, field monitors, community mobilizers, school teachers, children attending non formal NGO schools, and members from Parent Teacher Associations(PTAs), Village Education Committees (VECs), and Family Education Committees (FECs). Data was collected using a survey questionnaire followed by a semi-structured interview protocol. The main findings of the study revealed that majority of the NGOs were providing social services to the masses. They were supplying the books, stationary, scholarship and high motivation level to the participants. They were funded by the Government of Pakistan, Provincial Government, different donors' agencies and different trusts and charity organizations.
