      ab: Objective: The main objective of this paper is to compare the curricular design of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programmes of the two institutions in Macau. Method: Comparative analysis was conducted on curriculum related publications and information from government and official websites, for the two full-time four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing programmes. Result: The aims and objectives of the two programmes are practically similar. The main differences are found in the total number of teaching hours and credits, modules of core professional subjects as well as the arrangement of clinical placement Conclusion: Continuous improvement of the curriculum is important in guiding nursing education, to meet actual nursing care needs in Macau. Development of resources sharing platform may be considered between the two nursing institutions
