        There is evidence for the presence of Turkish tribes in the Balkans before the of the Ottoman Empire. After the conquest of the Balkans by the Ottoman Empire the Turkish language and Turkish culture made a very significant effect in the region. In 1453 Bosnia was conquered by Sultan Mehmet starting five centuries under the rule of the Ottoman empire. During this period, the Turkish Languange became the official language both of the Balkans and Bosna. Over the centuries, the Turkish language was used as the language of peace and a symbol of the stability of the Balkans. Balkan languages contain thousands of words, grammatical structures and forms that are borrowed from the Turkish language. One of the most important grammatical borrowings in the Bosnian language are Turkish suffixes. Occupied? suffixes are added to both Turkish and Bosnian words. Turkish suffixes enable and help to enrich the Bosnian language. During this period society in the Balkans underwent major structural changes. Interaction of the elements of grammar show the level reached in both ?urkish and Bosnian language. There are very few languages in the world that incorporat the grammar of another language. Grammatical particles and elements of the Turkish language that we see in Balkan languages and particularly in Bosnian language prove the power of the Turkish language in the region. Suffix for work -ci/-ci/-cu/-cü/-çi/-çi/-çu/-çü > -džija / -džije / - cija / -cija / -cija; adjectival suffix -li/-li/-lu/-lü >-lija/ -lije/ -li; negatival adjectival suffix -siz/-siz/-suz/-süz > -suz; suffix for place, work -lik / - lik /-luk /-lük > -luk; duminative suffix -cik/-cik/-cuk/-cük/-çik/-çik/- çuk/-çük > -šica ve -cik ; -la-ma/-le-me > -la-ma; -ti/-ti/-tu/-tü > -tija ; - car/-cer > -kâr / -ker suffixes were taken from Turkish language. In this study, we will investigate Turkish suffixes used in Bosnian language and show examples.
        Balkanlardaki Türk varlığı, Osmanlının bölgeye gelmesinden çok önceki asırlara uzanmaktadır. Türk dili ve kültürünün bölgedeki büyük etkisi, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun Balkan coğrafyasına yerleşmesiyle sağlanacaktır. Bu dönemde Balkan toplumları yapısal olarak büyük değişiklikler geçireceklerdir. Türkler ve Boşnaklar arasındaki kültür ve dil etkileşimi 1463 yılında Fatih Sultan Mehmet'in Bosna'yı fethiyle başlamıştır. Bu süre zarfında Türkçe, Balkanların iletişim dili haline gelerek asırlar boyunca barış ve istikrar dili görevini gördü. Türkçe, Balkan dillerine binlerce kelimenin yanında birçok gramatikal yapı ve şekil vermiştir. Boşnakça' ya geçen önemli gramatikal yapılardan biri Türkçe yapım ekleridir. Türkçe vasıtasıyla Boşnak diline geçen bu ekler, Türkçe kelimelere getirilmesinin yanında Boşnakça kelimelerde de kullanılmıştır. Türkçe yapım ekleri, Boşnakça' ya ayrı bir işleklik kabiliyeti ve zenginlik katmışlardır. Türkçenin Boşnak diline gramer unsurları vermesi, iki dilin etkileşiminin ulaştığı seviyeyi yansıtır. Dünyada çok az sayıdaki dil, başka bir dile gramer unsurları vermiştir. Türkçenin Balkan coğrafyasındaki dillere ve özelikle Boşnak diline verdiği birçok gramer unsuru Türkçenin bu coğrafyadaki gücünün ispatıdır. meslek ekleri -cı/-ci/-cu/-cü/-çı/-çi/-çu/-çü >-džija / -džije / -cija / -čija / -ćija; sıfat ekleri -lı/-li/-lu/-lü >-lija/ -lije/ -li; olumsuz sıfat eki -sız/-siz/-suz/-süz > -suz; araç, yer ve meslek adları yapmak için kullanılan kavram ekleri -lık / -lik /-luk /-lük > -luk; küçültme ekleri -cık/-cik/-cuk/-cük/-çık/-çik/-çuk/-çük >-šica ve-čik ; -la-ma/-le-me > -la-ma; -tı/-ti/-tu/-tü > -tija ; -ćar/-ćer > -kâr / -ker ekleri Boşnakça'ya Türkçe vasıtasıyla geçmiş eklerdir. Çalışmada Boşnak dilindeki Türkçe yapım ekleri tespit edilerek bu eklerin bulunduğu kelimeler ve kullanılışları incelenmiştir.
