Sumario:	The article discusses efforts being undertaken to conserve and restore the Villa of the Mysteries in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii in Italy. The year-long effort, which began in 2013, has focused on the conservation of the villa's mosaics and frescoes. The author describes the use of high-technology tools by conservators at the site, such as lasers to clean the frescoes and drones to study the entire structure.
