| Sumario: | The article presents information on a broad view of the augmented reality (AR) space, considering both direct applications of AR and the technologies required for supporting the applications. It explores new security as well as privacy challenges from AR technologies, defensive directions, and AR systems' new applications to known security and privacy issues. The challenges were organized along two axes including system scope and functionality. It is suggested that future AR systems should handle conflicts between multiple applications attempting for producing output. |
