Usually occurs after an infection of the upper airway or pyoderma. The exact pathophysiological mechanism of renal injury has not been fully clarified, and the clinical picture is typically characterized by edema, hypertension, gross hematuria. In young children, it is often asthenia, nausea, oliguria, fever and hematuria, one to two weeks after recovering from a framework of pharyngitis. In urinalysis can find dysmorphic RBCs and RBC casts granular, or hyaline leukocyte, and high osmolarity and positive proteinuria, and the CBC, is dilutional anemia, thrombocytopenia can occur by transient decline in platelet half-life treatment is symptomatology and prognosis is favorable in most cases. Complications such as circulatory congestion, hypertensive encephalopathy and acute renal failure may occur rarely in isolation or simultaneously. The prognosis is usually benign, and only about 1 % does not have a good evolution with oliguria. Thus, this study aims to summarize the main aspects about the uprisings re-WG. A Glomerulonefrite Difusa Aguda (GNDA), ou glomerulonefrite pós-estreptocócica, é uma das causas mais prevalentes de glomerulonefrite no mundo, com leve predomínio no sexo masculino. Geralmente ocorre após uma infecção de via aérea superior ou uma piodermite. O mecanismo fisiopatológico exato da lesão renal ainda não se encontra totalmente elucidado, e o quadro clinico é caracterizado tipicamente por edema, hipertensão arterial, hematúria macroscópica. Em crianças pequenas, é frequente a astenia, náuseas, oligúria, febre e hematuria, uma a duas semanas após a recuperação de um quadro de faringite. No exame de urina rotina podemos encontrar hemácias dismórficas e cilindros hemáticos granulosos, hialinos ou leucocitários, além de osmolaridade elevada e proteinúria positive, e ao hemograma, encontra-se anemia dilucional, podendo ocorrer plaquetopenia transitória pelo declínio na meia-vida plaquetária. O tratamento é sintomatológico, e o prognóstico é favorável na grande maioria dos casos. Complicações como a congestão circulatória, encefalopatia hipertensiva e insuficiência renal aguda, podem ocorrer raramente, de forma isolada ou simultânea. O tratamento da GNDA é sintomático, somado à eliminação do foco infeccioso. O suporte clinico com correção volêmica, controle da ingestão de sal e diuréticos de alça, são ferramentas importantes. O prognóstico geralmente é benigno, e somente cerca de 1% não apresenta uma boa evolução, com oligúria.
