Together with the human history, societies have sometimes been migrated "enforcedly" because of the situations like war, exile, disaster and sometimes "voluntarily" with the hope of finding better living conditions. During these migrations the moral and material elements of culture were also transported and people from different cultures were mutually affected each others' lives. As well as the inventions and discoveries, the diseases were also transported from one place to another with the different forms of migration. Together with the industrialization movement the deficiency in labor came out in the West and this deficiency was satisfied with various kinds of migration such as "slaves", "indentured labors" and beginning after World War II, "planned migration". But during the 1980's western countries restricted migration and even made it impossible, claiming that the labor shortages had already been shut down. Moreover, since 1980s, because of the changing population structure of the western countries and the works that westerners do not want to do, the labor shortage has increasingly been satisfied with the migrants migrating through illegal ways. During this hard and risky migration period, migrants are sometimes exposed to bad behavior and abuse of the smugglers or they lose their lives by succumbing to geographical conditions. In addition to this, the wars and internal disputes and disorders in various parts of the world creats a migrant group called refugee who had to leave their counties. Whatever the reason is, the migration creates some effects on the origin, transit and the target country. Handling of these effects in multi-faceted and multi-dimensional way will provide better understanding of migration and allow to resolve the problems associated with migration.
