Sumario:The article discusses the contribution of Todros Geller and L. M. Shteyn's works to the cultural and political economies of Jewish Chicago during the earlier part of the twentieth century. It examines how the artworks of Geller, which support Jewish culture, and Shteyn's texts in his publications influence the political and aesthetic vision of their patrons and allies, though their patrons also had an impact on them. These two Jewish men also affected political leaning in Jewish Chicago and played a part in creating a Yiddishist Chicago.
